Retail Tech Innovator Jumpmind Powers Mobile POS and Inventory Management for DTLR and Shoe Palace

Jumpmind Solutions: The Heart of the Transformation

DTLR and Shoe Palace will implement Jumpmind Commerce, a mobile-first, microservices-based platform, and Jumpmind Inventory to transform their retail operations. These solutions are designed to optimize associate tasks, enhance customer engagement, and ensure seamless shopping experiences.

Jumpmind Commerce’s cloud-native, API-first architecture enables highly intuitive, mobile-enabled operations. Store associates can effortlessly perform tasks, engage with customers throughout the store, and provide personalized services. The platform’s multi-language and multi-currency support ensures inclusivity, while its “endless aisle” capabilities seamlessly integrate with existing order management systems, allowing customers to access an expanded inventory and have items shipped directly to their homes.

The Jumpmind solutions will be deployed on Adyen Castle S1E2L Android “all-in-one” devices. These devices go beyond basic payment processing, offering a suite of advanced features such as a large touchscreen, barcode and fingerprint readers, and a 5M pixel rear camera. Associates can manage inventory, facilitate online orders, and process seamless checkouts—all from the palm of their hands.

Modernizing Retail for the Future

Todd Kirssin, CEO of DTLR, highlighted the importance of this partnership in driving the brand’s growth strategy. “The move to Jumpmind Commerce for Point of Sale on mobile devices is part of a larger initiative to modernize our stores and elevate the shopping experience for our customers. With larger store footprints showcasing more of the hottest sportswear and streetwear brands, mobile technology ensures associates can remain connected with customers and deliver a rewarding shopping experience.”

George Mersho, CEO of Shoe Palace, emphasized the value of mobility in serving customers outside traditional retail environments. “DTLR and Shoe Palace are deeply rooted in the communities we serve. The new Jumpmind Commerce mobile POS implementation empowers our associates to engage customers at community events, pop-up shops, and local activations. The flexibility of an all-in-one mobile solution allows us to better connect with our audience wherever they are.”

Enhancing Customer Experiences

The deployment of Jumpmind technology will redefine how DTLR and Shoe Palace interact with customers. Store associates will be able to provide personalized assistance, streamline the checkout process, and access real-time inventory data to meet customer demands efficiently. The integration also supports pop-up events and community activations, enhancing the retailers’ ability to connect with customers beyond the store.

Joe Corbin, CEO of Jumpmind, expressed excitement about the collaboration. “We’re thrilled to welcome DTLR and Shoe Palace to the Jumpmind family of retailers committed to innovation. These brands have been pioneers in the lifestyle retail space, and we’re proud to support their next phase of growth with cutting-edge technology. Together, we’re redefining what it means to deliver inspired in-store experiences.”

A Unified Vision for Retail Excellence

This partnership underscores the shared vision of Jumpmind, DTLR, and Shoe Palace to leverage technology for operational excellence and exceptional customer service. By integrating mobile-enabled solutions, the retailers aim to create a seamless shopping experience that meets the expectations of modern consumers while empowering store associates with the tools they need to succeed.

The rollout of Jumpmind’s solutions marks a significant step forward in retail innovation, aligning with JD Sports’ broader strategy of building a composable, adaptable retail technology ecosystem. With the deployment set to be completed across 450 store locations, this collaboration sets the stage for a new era of efficiency, agility, and customer satisfaction in lifestyle retail.

As the retail landscape continues to evolve, Jumpmind, DTLR, and Shoe Palace are leading the charge in reimagining the possibilities of mobile technology, ensuring their customers enjoy a premium, personalized shopping experience that sets them apart from competitors.
