El Super, a California-based chain of supermarkets focused on Hispanic clientele, is expanding its presence in Los Angeles with the opening of a new store in Bell Gardens, Calif., scheduled for July 17. Situated at 7102 Eastern Avenue, this 41,000 square-foot store aims to provide customers with high-quality products, variety, and great value for preparing delicious home-cooked meals. This marks El Super’s second new store opening of the year, following the recent launch in San Ysidro, Calif.
Operating daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., the new store will offer a wide range of grocery items from Latin America alongside popular household essentials. Key features include an expansive in-house bakery offering freshly made pastries, breads, and tortillas, complemented by full-service meat and seafood departments featuring top-quality selections such as meat cuts, pork, poultry, fresh fish, shellfish, and specialty items—all offered at competitive prices. Approximately 125 positions have been filled to fully staff the new store.

To celebrate the store opening, El Super will be making two $3,000 donations: one to the Human Services Association, a local nonprofit in Bell Gardens providing comprehensive family care, and another to the Mexican-American Opportunity Foundation, supporting socio-economic betterment programs for the Latino community in Los Angeles.
