In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is introducing a stylish way to support its mission through a collaboration with top action sports and apparel brands. These brands are offering special edition items that allow customers to contribute to breast cancer awareness while supporting B4BC’s education, prevention, and survivorship initiatives. This year’s partners include Gnu Snowboards, YETI, Pura Vida, Dakine, Arbor Skateboards, Union Binding Company, ThirtyTwo, Tactics, Bloom BMX, Rojo Outerwear, Gravity Grabbers, and Capacity Brewing Co.
“We are incredibly grateful to these brands for believing in our mission and creating products that spread the message of breast cancer awareness during this important month,” said Megan Pischke, B4BC Wellness Director + Marketing Manager and Stage 3 breast cancer survivor.
Some of the featured products include a pink tumbler by YETI, a Barrett snowboard by Gnu Snowboards, and the Juliette binding by Union Binding Company. Throughout October, Show Me Your Mumu will donate 10% of proceeds from select pink items to B4BC. Additional brands like YETI, Pura Vida, Dakine, and ThirtyTwo will offer exclusive items, with some donating products for B4BC’s event raffles and auctions. You can explore these items in B4BC’s Gift Guide.
Along with shopping to support, patrons can participate in several initiatives throughout October. B4BC’s 17th Annual Skate the Coast, a 15-mile event along the Southern California coast, will raise funds and awareness for the organization’s programs. Additionally, B4BC is hosting the Be Healthy, Get Active Campaign, featuring fitness and wellness classes, and the Chasing Sunshine Wellness Retreat in Encinitas, CA, designed to support breast cancer survivors on their wellness journeys.
