Global Circular Technology Firm Achieves $711 Million in Revenue, Driving Growth in the Circular Economy

Alchemy, the world’s fastest-growing circular technology company, has announced a record-breaking revenue of $711 million for the financial year ending March 31, 2024. This represents a 60% year-on-year increase from the previous year’s $443 million, underscoring the company’s sustained growth and its critical role in expanding the circular tech economy.

The company’s financial success in FY24 was driven by rising demand for sustainable technology solutions. Alchemy traded over 2.4 million devices globally during the year, a 700,000 increase from the previous period, preventing the emission of 148 million kilograms of CO2. Since its inception in 2017, the company has traded more than 7 million devices.

Walter Vicente, CEO of Alchemy, commented:

“As the circular economy evolves, we remain focused on innovation and sustainability. This year’s results highlight our commitment to reducing environmental impact while maximizing value for both businesses and consumers.”

In FY24, Alchemy’s Miami-based operations center spurred significant growth in the US, its largest market. Meanwhile, the JAPAC (Japan, Asia-Pacific) region saw a remarkable 97% year-on-year revenue boost, making it the company’s fastest-growing market.

Alchemy continues to reshape the circular tech sector through innovations like Callisto, its online wholesale tech marketplace. This platform enables seamless trading for tech buyers and sellers, fostering global connections and prioritizing trust through secure transactions.

Earlier this year, Alchemy became the first device refurbisher to calculate and certify the CO2e savings of each device sold, setting a new standard within the industry. The company is committed to driving industry-wide change, promoting sustainability, and enhancing trust with partners worldwide.

Alchemy’s growth is also reflected in its expanded operations. In June 2023, the company opened a new facility in Miramar, Florida, marking its third US location. Alchemy now operates in 12 countries, covering 60 global markets.

The company’s global success has been recognized with multiple prestigious accolades. Alchemy was named the top Irish business on the Financial Times 1000 list of Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies, ranking 257th overall. Deloitte also recognized Alchemy as one of the fastest-growing technology firms in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) over the past four years in its Technology Fast 500 EMEA list. Additionally, Alchemy placed 11th in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 for Ireland.

Looking ahead, Alchemy plans to expand Callisto, its digital marketplace for wholesale tech trading. The platform allows buyers to access top global deals while sellers can connect with buyers across the world from a single online marketplace, with trust and security as its core pillars.

As Alchemy continues to extend its global reach and introduce innovative solutions, it remains committed to making cutting-edge technology more accessible, affordable, and sustainable for consumers and businesses alike.
