
Today, Publix Super Markets CEO Kevin Murphy announced the upcoming retirement of Senior Vice President of Product Business Development, Dave Bornmann, after 41 years of distinguished service. Alongside this, two key leadership promotions were also announced, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
“Dave has been an exceptional leader, with a sharp focus on enhancing supplier relationships, store merchandising, and replenishment, while driving forward our health and wellness initiatives,” said Murphy. “His insights have been invaluable to his team and the industry. We wish him a well-deserved retirement.”
Bornmann’s retirement marks the promotion of Brad Oliver, Vice President of Product Business Development for Fresh Products, to Senior Vice President of Product Business Development. Additionally, Lee Revis, Product Business Development Director for Meat, will step into the role of Vice President of Product Business Development for Fresh Products.

About Dave Bornmann
Dave Bornmann, 66, began his career with Publix in 1983 as a computer programmer in Lakeland, Florida. Over the years, he held various leadership roles, including strategic project manager in 1992 and business development manager for dairy, processed meats, and DSD items in 1994. He was promoted to Vice President of Product Business Development for grocery/non-foods in 1998 and has served in his current role since 2013. Bornmann and his wife, Melissa, will continue residing in Lakeland, where he looks forward to spending more time with family and enjoying time on Anna Maria Island.
About Brad Oliver
Brad Oliver, 51, began his journey at Publix in 1991 as a part-time front service clerk in Lakeland. He transitioned to the corporate side as a retail information specialist in 1998, before moving to a grocery technical specialist role in 2000. Over the years, Oliver progressed through various leadership positions, including Business Development Director for Grocery Retail Support in 2013, and Vice President of Product Business Development for grocery/non-foods in 2018. He currently serves as Vice President of Product Business Development for deli and produce. Oliver and his wife, Michelle, reside in Lakeland.
About Lee Revis
Lee Revis, 57, joined Publix in 1987 as a part-time meat cutter apprentice in Ormond Beach, Florida. He has since advanced through numerous roles, including Meat Manager in 1993, Meat Merchandiser in 1998, and Fresh Meat Buyer in 2003. Revis later became Category Manager for Fresh Meat in 2006, and in 2013, took on the role of Director of Fresh Products/Produce and Bakery of Retail Support. Revis and his wife, Renee, reside in Brandon, Florida.
