FPT and CPF Launch Six AI Transformation Initiatives to Advance Smart Agri-Food Operations in Vietnam
Global IT corporation FPT and Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF) have officially launched six strategic artificial intelligence (AI) transformation initiatives aimed at accelerating AI adoption across C.P. Vietnam’s integrated Feed–Farm–Food value chain. The programs build on the strategic cooperation agreement signed by the two companies during the Thailand–Vietnam Business Forum 2026.
The Strategic Partnership Kick-off Ceremony, held on June 8, 2026, in Hanoi, was witnessed by Thailand’s Prime Minister H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, highlighting the growing technology collaboration between Thailand and Vietnam and their shared commitment to innovation-driven economic development.
The initiatives are designed to introduce practical AI applications across key business functions, helping improve productivity, optimize operations, and support sustainable growth throughout the agri-food ecosystem.
Under the partnership, FPT and CPF will jointly implement six priority AI projects, including employee AI training programs, livestock disease consultation systems, intelligent camera solutions for farm monitoring, image-based raw material quality inspection, digital feed-mixing prescription management, and sales management platforms for dealer networks. Deployment will follow a two-phase roadmap, beginning with the establishment of data and technology foundations before scaling successful AI solutions across operations.
To drive implementation, FPT will leverage its AI-first strategy, supported by FleziPT, its end-to-end AI platform, a global workforce of more than 30,000 AI-enabled engineers, AI Factories in Vietnam and Japan, and partnerships with leading global AI companies. The initiative is further supported by FPT CASAN, the company’s five-level AI transformation framework—Curious, Augmented, Standard, Automatic, and Native—which helps organizations transition from isolated AI experiments to enterprise-wide adoption with measurable business outcomes.
Levi Nguyen, Chief Executive Officer of FPT Thailand and FPT Taiwan, said AI is becoming a critical enabler of connected, predictive, and autonomous agricultural operations. Vietnam, emphasized that the collaboration demonstrates how combining the strengths of both organizations can create tangible value. He said the application of AI and digital technologies across C.P. Vietnam’s Feed–Farm–Food value chain will strengthen productivity, improve food safety, and enhance quality of life for consumers.
