CannaLnx Expands Insured Medical Cannabis Access in California Through Nine Retail and Delivery Partners

Partnerships Expand Across 15 Retail and Delivery Channels in Key California Markets, Demonstrating Real-World Momentum for Insurance-Integrated Cannabis Care

EM2P2, the company behind the CannaLnx healthcare platform, has announced a major expansion across California through new partnerships with nine dispensary and delivery operators. The collaboration spans 15 retail locations along with multiple regional delivery networks, marking a significant step forward in bringing insurance-integrated medical cannabis into real-world use.

The rollout represents one of the most substantial implementations of reimbursable medical cannabis infrastructure to date. Moving beyond theory, the model is now actively operating in key markets such as Los Angeles, the Bay Area and Sacramento.

Through the CannaLnx platform, eligible patients can receive up to $175 per month in reimbursements for qualified medical cannabis purchases made at participating retailers, with coverage facilitated through employer-sponsored health plans.

Participating partners include ERBA LA, Kolas, Green Gold Delivery, Green Remedy, All About Wellness, Posh Green, Cannabis Buyers’ Club of Berkeley, Ivy Hill Weed Dispensary and Doobie Nights, collectively offering broad geographic coverage across the state.

“This is the moment the conversation shifts from ‘if’ to ‘how fast,’” said Gennaro Luce, CEO of EM2P2. “We’re no longer discussing future possibilities—we’re actively building the infrastructure for reimbursable medical cannabis in one of the world’s most influential markets.”

California continues to serve as a proving ground for cannabis innovation, and EM2P2’s model aims to connect dispensaries, patients, physicians and insurers within a compliant, HIPAA-ready framework. The platform is designed to support reimbursement eligibility while maintaining clinical oversight and regulatory integrity.

“Employers are looking for more cost-effective, flexible ways to support employee health,” said Stephanie R. Zink, Independent Health Advisor at Team Zink. “Integrating medical cannabis into a structured and insurable framework offers a new pathway to expand care while managing costs responsibly.”

CannaLnx facilitates verified transactions and generates the documentation needed for insurers to assess cannabis as a potential covered benefit, helping bring greater legitimacy and standardization to the category.

“For cannabis to function within healthcare, it must meet healthcare standards,” Luce added. “That includes compliance, traceability and trusted systems for insurers. California provides the scale to prove this model works.”

The initiative also offers a meaningful boost to dispensary operators. At a baseline reimbursement of $100 per patient per month, just 1,000 patients at a single location could generate approximately $100,000 in monthly reimbursed revenue—equating to $1.2 million annually.

“We’re proud to be part of the Elevated States program and excited about the impact it will have on our patient community,” said Aundre Speciale, Founder of Cannabis Buyers’ Club of Berkeley, the oldest dispensary in the U.S.

Beyond retail, the expansion positions EM2P2 at the intersection of healthcare policy, employer benefits and emerging reimbursement models. With ongoing changes in insurance structures, the company is targeting HR leaders and decision-makers seeking alternative, cost-efficient care solutions.

“For operators, the challenge has never been proving cannabis has medical value—it’s delivering that value in a consistent, compliant and scalable way,” said Justin Karapetyan, Founder and CEO of Kolas. “CannaLnx gives us a pathway to integrate our retail network into a broader healthcare framework.”

With additional markets already in development, EM2P2 plans to leverage its California expansion as a foundation for growth nationwide, using early adoption data and partner success to drive further rollout.
