Tractor Supply Customers Contribute Over $547,000 to “Relief for Rescues” Fund Supporting Displaced Shelter Animals
Strong Customer Response Supports Animals Affected by Natural Disasters
Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, announced that its customers have contributed more than $547,000 through its “Relief for Rescues” Fund to help animal shelters and rescue organizations impacted by natural disasters.
The donations were collected during a nationwide fundraising period held from May 26 through June 7, where customers were given the option to contribute at checkout in-store or online at TractorSupply.com. The initiative reflects continued customer engagement in supporting animal welfare efforts during times of crisis.
Launched in partnership with country music artist Miranda Lambert and her MuttNation Foundation in 2023, the Relief for Rescues Fund has quickly become a major source of emergency support for animal shelters facing disaster-related challenges. Since its inception, the fund has distributed more than $1.6 million to over 166 shelters and rescue organizations across the United States.
A Lifeline for Shelters in Crisis
The Relief for Rescues Fund is designed to provide immediate financial assistance to animal shelters and rescue groups impacted by hurricanes, floods, wildfires, tornadoes, and other natural disasters. Funding is used to support a wide range of urgent needs, including food, medical care, transportation, shelter repairs, and essential supplies.
By directing donations to frontline organizations, the program helps ensure that animals displaced or endangered by disasters receive timely care and protection.

In 2025 alone, the Relief for Rescues Fund played a critical role in supporting recovery efforts across multiple large-scale disasters. Contributions from the fund, administered through MuttNation Foundation, helped shelters recover from events such as the California wildfires in January and severe flooding in Texas during July.
These funds allowed organizations to respond quickly to emergency conditions, ensuring that displaced animals were fed, sheltered, and transported to safety while longer-term recovery efforts were underway.
Country music star Miranda Lambert emphasized the importance of continued support for animal welfare organizations in times of crisis.

Since 2019, Tractor Supply and MuttNation Foundation have maintained an ongoing partnership focused on animal welfare and shelter support. Their collaboration includes MuttNation’s annual “Mutts Across America” program, which provides grants to shelters nationwide to support adoption efforts and operational needs.
In addition, Tractor Supply serves as the exclusive retail partner for MuttNation pet products. A portion of proceeds from these products is directed to MuttNation Foundation to further its mission of promoting pet adoption, supporting spay and neuter programs, and assisting shelters in times of need.

As part of its involvement with Miranda Lambert and the Music City Rodeo, the company hosted a “Help Us Fill the Little Red Wagon” pet supply drive in Nashville. Held on May 28 at the Tractor Supply tent outside Bridgestone Arena, the event encouraged rodeo attendees to donate essential pet supplies including food, toys, treats, and care items for local shelters.
To encourage participation, the first 100 donors received a Tractor Supply gift card. All collected donations were later delivered to Metro Animal Care and Control in Nashville, helping support animals awaiting adoption and easing resource constraints at the facility.
The initiative highlighted Tractor Supply’s continued commitment to community-based animal welfare efforts and its focus on providing practical, immediate support to shelters.
