Ikon Pass Sales for 2025/26 End December 11 as Megève Ski Area Joins the Network
Thursday, December 11, 2025, marks the final day to purchase the 2025/26 Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, and Ikon Session Pass. Beginning December 12, the Ikon Pass will no longer be available and is expected to return for the 2026/27 winter season in spring 2026.
Megève Ski Area Added for Winter 2025/26
A major new addition for the upcoming season is Megève Ski Area in France, located in the scenic Mont Blanc Massif. Known for its rich alpine heritage and refined French character, Megève spans approximately 400 kilometers of terrain across Rochebrune, Mont d’Arbois, Jaillet, and Côte 2000.
Skiers can enjoy scenic tree-lined slopes, panoramic mountain views, over 60 on-mountain dining options, and a charming après-ski atmosphere.
For the 2025/26 season:
- Ikon Pass holders receive seven days of access to Megève with no blackout dates.
- Ikon Base Pass holders receive five days of access with no blackout dates.
- The Ikon Session Pass does not include Megève access.

Winter Season Now Underway
Winter 2025/26 has officially kicked off, with lifts already turning at several Ikon destinations, including:
- United States: Arapahoe Basin, Winter Park, Steamboat, Copper Mountain (Colorado); Mammoth Mountain (California); Sugarbush and Killington (Vermont); Loon Mountain (New Hampshire); Sugarloaf and Sunday River (Maine)
- Canada: SkiBig3
- Europe & Asia: St. Moritz (Switzerland) and Yunding Snow Park (China)
Together with Megève, there are now nine Ikon Pass destinations across Europe, strengthening the pass’s global reach.
Matt Bowers, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Alterra Mountain Company, noted that more than 73 destinations worldwide are now part of the Ikon Pass community for the upcoming season.
