Core-Mark Chooses Blue Yonder to Revolutionize Its Category Management Strategy Through Digital Transformation

Convenience retailers need efficient solutions to optimize space and floor layouts, tailoring local assortments that attract and retain customers. In response to this need, Core-Mark, a leading provider of fresh solutions for the convenience store industry, is fully integrating Blue Yonder’s Category Management solutions into its SaaS platform, completing the digital transformation of its space and floor planning offerings. The implementation will be led by Blue Yonder’s Global Professional Services team.

Having already leveraged Blue Yonder’s SaaS solutions in the West, Southwest, and Eastern regions, Core-Mark sought to enhance its category management capabilities in the Midwest region by migrating to the cloud. This move aims to fully digitize its space and floor planning, streamline tools for its planning staff, and standardize services across its customer base.

By expanding the use of Blue Yonder’s SaaS-based Category Management solutions, Core-Mark will gain access to advanced features such as enhanced automation through Blue Yonder’s Planogram Generator and targeted strategies via optimized store groupings through Channel Clustering.
