Alston, a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the beauty and luxury e-commerce sectors, joins Skylar at a pivotal time in its growth journey, marking a significant milestone for Starco Brands’ ongoing innovation and market leadership.

Alston joins Skylar from Rose Inc., where he served as Vice President of Global Marketing and Creative. There, he played a key role in refining the brand’s strategic and creative direction, working closely with the founder to enhance product and content strategies.
Before his tenure at Rose Inc., Alston was the launch partner and Vice President of Global Brand at r.e.m. beauty, collaborating with Ariana Grande from 2020 to 2023. Under his leadership, r.e.m. beauty achieved notable success, including winning the Allure Readers’ Choice New Brand of the Year award and developing several award-winning products.
Alston’s prior experience includes serving as Head of Global Brand Campaigns and earlier as Head of Marketing for EMEA at NET-A-PORTER, where he significantly drove growth and led key initiatives like the Net-Sustain platform. He also played a crucial role in launching the Fine Jewelry & Watch Suite and collaborated with major luxury brands such as Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Hermes, and Fendi.
Additionally, Alston has held leadership roles at Charlotte Tilbury, where he spearheaded the U.S. launch, and at L’Oréal USA and LVMH.
A Nottingham Trent University graduate with a first-class BA (Hons) in Fashion, Marketing, and Communication, Alston is known for his visionary leadership and creative expertise. He is set to bring a fresh and dynamic perspective to Skylar’s marketing strategies and customer engagement.
