This seasonal program, a mainstay for years, aims to alleviate budget concerns for customers by unveiling a refreshed lineup of products with lowered prices.
With a focus on hearty winter fare, the program features a variety of fresh proteins, some marked down to their lowest prices in nearly four years:
- Corned Beef Silverside, now $8/kg (previously $10/kg)
- Beef Chuck Steak, now $15/kg (previously $17.50/kg)
- RSPCA Approved Whole Chickens, now $4.50/kg (previously $5.50/kg)
- RSPCA Approved Chicken Stir Fry 500g packs, now $8 (previously $9)
- Roast Pork Shoulder Boneless, now $8/kg (previously $10/kg)
- Pork Belly Roast, now $16/kg (previously $19/kg)
Woolworths proudly sources all its own brand fresh meat and chicken from Australian farmers.
In addition to meat, the program encompasses a wide array of winter essentials:
- Perfect Italiano Parmesan Sharp Cheese 125g, now $4 (previously $4.50)
- Heinz Big N Chunky Soup varieties 535g, now $3 (previously $4.40)
- La Molisana Pastificio 500g pasta range, now $3.50 (previously $4)

- Vittoria Oro Coffee Capsules 20 pack, now $9 (previously $13)
- Moccona Coffee Sachet 10 pack varieties, now $5 (previously $6)
- Twinings English Breakfast 50 pack, now $7 (previously $8.50)
- Dimetapp Cold & Flu 20 pack, now $10.50 (previously $15)
- Strepsils Anaesthetic Lozenges 36 pack, now $15 (previously $19)

Alongside the “Prices Dropped for Winter” program, Woolworths continues its commitment to value through its Everyday Low Price program and Member Price offers.

- Thousands of weekly specials, with many items offered at half price.
- Woolworths own brand products, which typically save customers about 30% compared to similar branded products.
- The Odd Bunch range, offering savings of at least 20% on slightly irregular fruit and vegetables while supporting Australian farmers.
- Utilizing Woolworths’ online tools, such as the Best Unit Price filter, and in-store displays that prominently feature price and unit price information for easier comparison shopping.
The “Prices Dropped for Winter” program runs from May 29, 2024, until August 27, 2024, providing customers with sample opportunity to take advantage of these savings.
