PCI Launches Hiring Drive for New Brownsburg, IN Facility

Postal Center International (PCI), a leading mail solutions provider with a 40-year history, is launching a significant hiring drive in anticipation of the opening of its state-of-the-art presort mailing facility in Brownsburg, Indiana. Headquartered in Florida and with facilities in Texas and Massachusetts, PCI is expanding its operations to serve the Midwest. The new facility, set to open by fall, represents a multimillion-dollar investment and is expected to create around 100 new full-time positions by the end of 2024, with the number rising to over 168 by 2028. This move underscores PCI’s commitment to community investment and economic development.

The new jobs will span various departments, including operations, logistics, human resources, and technical roles, offering a wide range of opportunities for local talent. Supporting this expansion, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) has pledged up to $700,000 in incentive-based tax credits and up to $100,000 in Hoosier Business Investment tax credits. These incentives are performance-based, becoming available as PCI hires Indiana residents and makes investments in the region. This collaboration highlights Indiana’s supportive business environment and dedication to regional economic growth.

Ann Lathrop, Chief Strategy Officer at the IEDC, stated, “Postal Center International’s decision to expand in Brownsburg underscores Indiana’s robust economic climate and our ability to attract and support forward-thinking companies. The planned growth will generate 168 new, quality career opportunities, boosting economic and community development in Hendricks County and central Indiana.”

Dennis R. Garcia, Executive Vice President & CFO of PCI, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are proud to expand into Brownsburg, known for its dynamic talent pool. Our hiring initiative is key to our national expansion strategy, aiming to build a strong team that supports PCI in delivering superior client-centric mail solutions. The incentives from the IEDC have been instrumental in this expansion, and we look forward to becoming an integral part of the Brownsburg community.”

The new PCI facility will enhance the company’s operational capabilities and create significant employment opportunities, benefiting Brownsburg and surrounding areas. Featuring cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions, the facility will meet the growing needs of PCI’s diverse client base.

Aligned with its core values of Partnerships, Teamwork, Creativity, and Innovation, PCI is dedicated to providing a supportive and dynamic work environment. The new facility will reflect these principles, fostering sustainable growth and community involvement.
