MyForest Foods Expands to West Coast Through Good Eggs Retail Partnership

MyForest Foods Co. announced today that their award-winning product, MyBacon strips, will now be available to West Coast consumers for the first time through a strategic retail partnership with Good Eggs. Good Eggs, an online grocery platform, combines the quality of a farmer’s market with the convenience of home delivery. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for MyForest Foods as they aim to make MyBacon available nationwide.

Driven by consumer demand, MyForest Foods’ expansion to the West Coast is their first retail venture outside the East Coast and their first foray into the online marketplace. Starting today, customers in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas can order MyBacon from Good Eggs without a subscription.

Good Eggs joins a growing list of MyBacon retailers, which includes Whole Foods and MOM’s Organic Market. Following a successful showcase at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim and winning the 2024 NEXTY Award for Best Vegan Product, this bicoastal expansion comes at a perfect time, with consumers nationwide eager to try MyBacon. Now available in over 550 retailers, MyForest Foods is focused on expanding their West Coast presence and continuing their East Coast growth before the end of 2024.

MyBacon is a plant-based and Kosher-certified meatless bacon made from just five ingredients: organic oyster mushroom mycelium (the nutrient-rich root structure), salt, organic sugar, organic coconut oil, and natural flavors. With a taste, smell, and texture similar to traditional bacon, MyBacon’s light-touch farming and production process uses less land and water and produces less carbon than conventional pork production.
