Cash App Expands Checkout Options with New Afterpay and Cash App Pay Retail Partners
Cash App has announced a major expansion of its commerce payment ecosystem, with several new retailers adding Afterpay and Cash App Pay to their checkout experiences. The move gives consumers more flexibility in how they pay for purchases while helping merchants offer convenient payment options during the busy summer shopping season.
The latest additions highlight the growing demand for alternative payment methods that provide shoppers with greater control over their spending. Through Cash App’s commerce suite, customers can choose between Afterpay’s buy-now-pay-later solution or Cash App Pay’s direct payment option, depending on their preferences and financial needs.
A number of retailers have recently integrated Afterpay into their checkout systems. These include Dog Friendly Co, GlassesUSA, Herff Jones, Jaxxon, k2o by Kylie Jenner, Kat The Label, Minky Couture, Monday Swimwear, Nanit, Rally House, REDVANLY, Shokz, and WeWoreWhat. The addition allows customers to split purchases into manageable installment payments, making it easier to shop for products ranging from fashion and accessories to technology and home goods.
Several brands have also adopted Cash App Pay, including Fubo, Instacart, Lime, and Sweetgreen. Cash App Pay enables customers to complete purchases directly from their Cash App balance or linked funding source, creating a seamless and fast checkout experience.
In addition, Made-it Pro, Shoe Carnival & Shoe Station, and Squire have implemented both Afterpay and Cash App Pay, giving shoppers the freedom to select the payment method that best suits their needs.
Retail partners say flexible payment options are becoming increasingly important to customers. Shannon Owens, Head of Marketing at Monday Swimwear, noted that adding Afterpay helps customers invest in premium swimwear while managing their budgets more effectively. According to Owens, the partnership allows shoppers to build their summer wardrobes with greater confidence by spreading payments over time.
Cash App executives believe the expansion reflects changing consumer expectations around payments and checkout experiences. Tanuj Parikh, Head of Revenue for Afterpay and Cash App, emphasized that shoppers are looking for more choice and flexibility when making purchases. He explained that Afterpay and Cash App Pay serve different customer needs while providing merchants with additional tools to improve customer satisfaction and drive sales.
The expansion is part of Cash App’s broader strategy to strengthen its commerce offerings and create a more versatile payment ecosystem. By combining buy-now-pay-later functionality with direct digital payments, the company aims to simplify the checkout process across a wide range of retail categories.
As consumers continue to seek convenient and budget-friendly payment solutions, the addition of new merchant partners demonstrates the growing adoption of flexible payment technologies. With more brands embracing Afterpay and Cash App Pay, shoppers now have access to a wider network of retailers offering payment options tailored to modern spending habits.
The latest integrations further position Cash App as a key player in digital commerce, helping connect consumers and merchants through faster, more flexible, and more personalized payment experiences.
