Grove Collaborative Holdings, a pioneer in sustainable consumer products and a Certified B Corporation, has announced ambitious new sustainability targets alongside updates to its Plastic Free by 2025 initiative.
Today, Grove unveiled a commitment to prevent 15 million pounds of single-use plastic waste from entering the environment by 2030. This goal builds on its existing Plastic Free by 2025 pledge and reinforces its leadership in reducing plastic consumption across its product offerings.
Central to these efforts is the introduction of the Beyond Plastic™ Impact Tracker, a tool designed to transparently report plastic avoided and recovered with each customer order. This initiative aims to engage consumers actively in combating single-use plastics by showcasing their individual impact and encouraging sustainable purchasing decisions.
Jeff Yurcisin, CEO of Grove Collaborative, emphasized the company’s dedication to transforming industry norms by offering sustainable alternatives and collaborating with over 240 brands committed to reducing plastic usage. Despite challenges, Grove remains steadfast in its mission to drive industry-wide change and invites others to join in their commitment to a plastic-free future.
Since its inception, Grove has made significant strides, recovering over 16 million pounds of ocean-bound plastic and certifying a substantial portion of its product lineup as 95%+ plastic-free. Through ongoing innovation and partnerships, Grove continues to pioneer sustainable practices, positioning itself as a leader in the global movement towards environmental stewardship.
