Embracing the theme of “INCLUSION,” the store will introduce larger, unified sections for both men and women, departing from traditional department store layouts segregated by gender. With an array of world-class brand outlets and exquisite interior and exterior designs, Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store will redefine the Ikebukuro area’s landscape.
Each floor of the store, including the building itself, will embody the architectural concept of “Maison” (“House” in French), emphasizing “class,” “sophistication,” and “art.” The focus areas will highlight luxury, cosmetics, and the basement deli section, with fashion spaces designed to transcend conventional gender distinctions.
Merchandising efforts will prioritize luxury, cosmetics, and the basement deli section, reflecting recent customer preferences. The “Luxury” section will showcase approximately 60 premier global brands, featuring mixed men’s and women’s shops with expanded floor space. Likewise, the “Cosmetics” section will offer around 60 domestic and international brands, including unisex options for shared shopping experiences.
