This transformation expands the North Shore destination’s event capabilities to over 50,000 square feet of versatile event space, consolidating its position as a premier venue for conferences, weddings, and special events.
Originally opened in 2009 and soon celebrating its 15th anniversary, Rivers Casino continues to evolve with new offerings including a full-service gaming floor, BetRivers Sportsbook, and The Landing Hotel. Bud Green, General Manager of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, emphasized the venue’s strategic location near stadiums and other attractions, which contributes to a bustling events calendar.
Bridges Ballroom, a highlight of the renovation, is a stunning addition located on the second floor, spanning 7,044 square feet with panoramic views of the Ohio River, Mount Washington, and Pittsburgh’s iconic bridges. This new venue includes balcony access and can be divided into three smaller rooms: the West End Room (1,844 sq ft), Fort Duquesne Room (1,164 sq ft), and Fort Pitt Room (4,036 sq ft), offering flexibility for various event sizes and styles.
Complementing the Bridges Ballroom are four new meeting rooms: the Clemente Room (1,140 sq ft), Warhol Room (472 sq ft), Carson Room (470 sq ft), and an executive boardroom (348 sq ft). These spaces serve as additional options for breakout sessions or pre-function areas.
The renovation also revitalized the Rivers Ballroom, originally opened in 2011, featuring refreshed interiors and offering spectacular city and river views. This 7,873-square-foot space includes the Allegheny Room (2,764 sq ft), Monongahela Room (2,533 sq ft), and Ohio Room (2,576 sq ft), which can be utilized individually or combined.
In addition to venue enhancements, Rivers Casino introduced a standalone Starbucks Coffee and the exclusive Black Card Room for high-tier Rush Rewards Players Club members.
