In a satirical and vibrant campaign, comedian Megan Stalter plays the role of a mischievous “Sinfluencer,” drawing attention to everyday skincare missteps like pimple picking or forgetting to remove makeup before bed. The message? e.l.f. SKIN’s Holy Hydration! products are here to absolve all skincare sins, offering affordable and effective solutions for everyone.

“We’ve all committed skincare sins – and there’s no e.l.f.ing shame in that! We’re just here to rescue the community from making more of them,” says Kory Marchisotto, e.l.f. Beauty’s Chief Marketing Officer. The campaign aims to demystify the belief that skincare must be complicated or expensive, making e.l.f. SKIN’s simple, high-quality routine accessible for all.

Gen Z is at the heart of this campaign, with research showing that while they lead skincare use, they’re also guilty of skincare “sins.” e.l.f. SKIN’s “Divine Skintervention” initiative takes real-life confessions and transforms them into a 360-degree marketing effort, featuring social media, TV, and out-of-home platforms. An interactive landing page allows users in the U.S. and U.K. to confess their skincare sins and receive personalized product recommendations.

Created in partnership with Day One Agency, the campaign highlights e.l.f.’s commitment to engaging its community with fun, relatable content. The brand’s rapid growth—32x the category average—has propelled it to top 10 brand status, fueled by innovative products like the Holy Hydration! line and viral hits such as Bronzing Drops.
