Dunkin’ serves up tennis-inspired beverages, limited-edition collectibles and exclusive merchandise to elevate fans’ match-day experience.
Dunkin’ is bringing its signature energy to tennis season with a new celebration that blends refreshing flavors, sporty style, exclusive merchandise and interactive fan experiences. Beginning Aug. 30, tennis fans will have even more ways to make Dunkin’ part of their match-day routines, whether they are heading to the courts, watching a tournament, meeting friends in the city or simply looking for a flavorful pick-me-up.
The brand’s latest tennis-themed campaign is designed to capture the excitement surrounding one of the sport’s biggest moments while connecting tennis with the broader worlds of fashion, food, culture and entertainment. From new beverages and collectible packaging to a limited-edition apparel collection and an in-person activation in New York City, Dunkin’ is giving fans plenty of opportunities to sip, snack and celebrate throughout the tennis season.
At the center of the campaign is a limited-time menu featuring two new beverages: Melon Deuce Energy and Matcha Point. Both drinks are designed to bring a tennis-inspired twist to Dunkin’s beverage lineup while offering fans distinctive flavors for different moments of the day.
Melon Deuce Energy combines juicy watermelon lime and raspberry flavors with lemonade to create a refreshing drink designed for fans looking for a bright and flavorful boost. Its combination of fruit-forward flavors makes it a fitting option for warm match days, pre-match coffee runs or afternoon breaks between games.
The second new beverage, Matcha Point, offers a different take on tennis-season refreshment. The drink combines matcha with French vanilla flavor and protein milk, creating a smooth and creamy beverage with 18 grams of protein in a medium size. With matcha continuing to appeal to consumers seeking alternatives to traditional coffee beverages, Matcha Point gives Dunkin’ fans another option for their daily beverage routine.
The tennis celebration also extends to Dunkin’s iconic MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats. Beginning Aug. 30, customers who purchase a three-count assorted mix of MUNCHKINS® can receive a limited-edition Mini Tennis Can at participating Dunkin’ locations while supplies last. The collectible adds another element to the campaign and gives fans a small piece of tennis-inspired Dunkin’ memorabilia to take home.
For Dunkin’, the campaign is about more than introducing seasonal menu items. The brand is also leaning into the relationship between sports, lifestyle and culture by giving tennis fans ways to express their enthusiasm beyond the food and beverage menu.
That strategy is particularly visible in Dunkin’s new “Serve, Sip, Swing with Dunkin’” merchandise collection. Launching Friday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. ET, the limited-edition collection will be available through Dunkin’s merchandise platform and will feature a range of tennis-inspired apparel and accessories.
One of the highlights of the collection is a collaboration with HEAD, the internationally recognized tennis brand. The partnership brings together Dunkin’s recognizable personality with HEAD’s connection to the world of tennis to create two exclusive tennis bags. The HEAD x Dunkin’ tennis bags will be offered in orange and pink, with each bag priced at $99.
The collaboration is intended to appeal not only to dedicated tennis players but also to fans who enjoy incorporating sports-inspired fashion and accessories into their everyday style. Alongside the two tennis bags, the collection will include additional tennis-inspired apparel and accessories, with prices ranging from $15 to $50.
By expanding the campaign into merchandise, Dunkin’ is positioning the tennis celebration as a lifestyle experience rather than a traditional seasonal food promotion. Fans can enjoy the beverages, collect the Mini Tennis Can, wear tennis-inspired merchandise and participate in an in-person activation, creating multiple touchpoints with the brand throughout the season.
New York City will also play an important role in the celebration. Dunkin’ and American Express® Gold are joining forces to bring “Game, Set, Sip” to Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall for a two-day fan activation taking place Aug. 30 and 31.
The activation will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on both days, giving visitors an opportunity to step away from the city’s busy streets and into a tennis-inspired Dunkin’ experience. The event is designed to combine interactive entertainment, food and beverage sampling, photography opportunities and tennis-themed surprises.
One of the central attractions will be the Gold Court, where guests can participate in a precision challenge. The interactive experience is intended to bring some of the excitement and competitiveness of tennis directly to fans, allowing them to test their skills in a playful setting.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to sample Dunkin’s newest menu offerings while exploring the activation. Photo opportunities and other tennis-inspired elements will add to the experience, creating moments designed for fans to share both in person and across social media.
American Express® Gold Card Members will receive an additional benefit through a special fast-pass line, allowing eligible card members to access the activation through a dedicated entry option. The collaboration gives the experience an added layer of exclusivity while connecting Dunkin’s tennis campaign with American Express’ lifestyle-focused customer experiences.
Dunkin’ Chief Marketing Officer Jill Nelson said the brand has seen its guests incorporate Dunkin’ into their tennis routines, whether they are attending matches or spending time around the courts. The new campaign is intended to build on that existing connection by giving fans a broader range of ways to participate.
The combination of food, beverages, collectibles, merchandise and live experiences reflects the growing role that major sports moments can play in consumer culture. Tennis, in particular, has increasingly become associated with fashion, lifestyle and entertainment in addition to competition. Dunkin’s latest campaign taps into that intersection by presenting tennis season as an opportunity for fans to engage with the sport in multiple ways.
The timing of the campaign also allows Dunkin’ to connect its seasonal offerings with the excitement surrounding tennis events. For fans, a beverage before a match, a snack between games or a piece of tennis-inspired merchandise can become part of the overall experience.
The campaign’s limited-edition nature adds another layer of urgency. The Mini Tennis Can will only be available at participating locations while supplies last, while the “Serve, Sip, Swing with Dunkin’” collection will launch at a specific time on Sept. 4. For fans interested in collecting the special items or purchasing the HEAD collaboration, the limited availability could make the merchandise especially appealing.
Dunkin’ is also keeping the tennis celebration going beyond its initial launch. Fans are encouraged to follow the brand’s social media channels for additional announcements, with Dunkin’ teasing the appearance of a tennis legend who is expected to join the celebration the following week.
The upcoming appearance adds an element of anticipation to the campaign and suggests that Dunkin’ has additional tennis-related surprises planned. Rather than positioning the Aug. 30 launch as the end of the celebration, the brand is using the initial menu, merchandise and New York activation as the starting point for a broader tennis-season campaign.
Through the initiative, Dunkin’ is bringing together several of its key brand strengths: recognizable beverages, snackable food, playful collectibles, cultural partnerships and experiential marketing. The result is a campaign designed to reach tennis fans whether they are serious players, tournament spectators or simply consumers who enjoy the sport’s growing influence on lifestyle and culture.
The new Melon Deuce Energy and Matcha Point beverages provide the campaign with a food-and-drink foundation, while the Mini Tennis Can gives MUNCHKINS® customers an opportunity to take home a collectible. The HEAD collaboration extends the campaign into sports merchandise, and the “Game, Set, Sip” activation brings the concept into a physical environment where fans can interact directly with the brand.
Together, these elements create a tennis-season experience that goes beyond the traditional Dunkin’ menu. The campaign demonstrates how the brand is using cultural moments to develop experiences that can live across restaurants, merchandise, social media and physical events.
As tennis season gets underway, Dunkin’ is inviting fans to make the brand part of every stage of the experience—from the first serve and the breaks between matches to the final point and celebrations afterward. With new drinks, collectible items, limited-edition merchandise, a New York City activation and more announcements still to come, the brand is aiming to make tennis season another memorable moment for Dunkin’ fans.
Consumers can follow Dunkin’ for updates on the campaign, seasonal menu offerings, collaborations and future announcements as the celebration continues.
