Makro, the leading wholesale business under CP Extra Public Company Limited, has officially launched “Makro Amata Nakorn 2” (Jas Village), marking its 8th branch in Chonburi Province. This new location, situated in the Napa Subdistrict of Mueang Chonburi District, spans 4,150 square meters and features over 20,000 consumer products. The branch emphasizes fresh food, including fish such as sea bass, salmon, squid, shellfish, and premium grade raw fish from CP Uoriki, offering fresh seafood from Japan at accessible prices. Additionally, the branch boasts a modern design with digital media.
Makro continues to support Thai farmers by sourcing agricultural products locally, including fresh, clean oysters that meet GAP standards and GI products like Nong Hiang jackfruit. Local products such as salad vegetables are also supported, helping drive the local economy and develop Chonburi’s agricultural sector for sustainable income.
Mrs. Saowalak Thithaphan, Chief Executive Officer of Makro Wholesale Business Group, highlighted that Makro Amata Nakorn 2 is strategically located in a high-potential area with a dense population and popular tourist attractions. Chonburi, being a significant economic zone with major industrial estates like Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate (Amata Nakorn), houses over 800 large factories and a workforce exceeding 200,000 people.
