
China Tourism Group and Liaoning Fangda Group Forge Strategic Partnership to Drive Integrated Tourism and Aviation Development
In a significant move toward advancing China’s tourism and aviation industries, China Tourism Group (CTG) and Liaoning Fangda Group Industrial Co., Ltd. (Fangda Group) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hong Kong. The agreement marks a milestone in the collaboration between two influential conglomerates committed to strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors including aviation, tourism, retail, and hospitality.
The signing ceremony was a high-level event attended by prominent leaders from both organizations. Mr. Wu Qiang, Deputy General Manager of China Tourism Group, and Mr. Liu Yinan, Vice President of Fangda Group, formally signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies. The event was witnessed by Mr. Wang Haimin, Chairman of China Tourism Group, and Mr. Fang Wei, Chairman of the Board of Fangda Group. The proceedings were hosted by Mr. Jian Yi, Deputy General Manager of CTG. Also present were Mr. Sun Dong, Vice President and Board Secretary-General of Fangda Group, and Mr. Xu Jun, Vice President of Fangda Group.
The newly established partnership is designed to leverage the complementary strengths and resources of both corporations. Under the framework of the agreement, CTG and Fangda Group will collaborate in key areas such as aviation tourism, travel retail expansion, membership benefits integration, corporate and business travel services, hotel management, and full-spectrum tourism operations. By combining CTG’s extensive expertise in travel retail and hospitality management with Fangda Group’s strong presence in aviation and industrial sectors, both parties aim to create synergistic growth opportunities that will contribute to a more interconnected and resilient tourism ecosystem.
This alliance underscores a shared commitment to innovation, cooperation, and sustainable development within China’s evolving tourism and travel industries. The two groups intend to jointly explore new models of service integration, enhance customer experiences, and develop platforms that promote seamless travel and diversified tourism products. Through this collaboration, CTG and Fangda seek to reinforce their leadership positions while contributing to the broader goals of China’s tourism modernization and high-quality development agenda.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Chairman Fang Wei and the Fangda Group delegation were given a guided tour of the China Tourism Group Historic and Cultural Exhibition Hall, where they gained a deeper understanding of CTG’s rich heritage, corporate achievements, and forward-looking strategies. The visit highlighted CTG’s evolution as a comprehensive tourism enterprise and its pivotal role in shaping China’s travel retail and hospitality sectors.
Key representatives from Fangda Group’s major subsidiaries, including Zhongxing Commerce and Hong Kong Airlines, participated in the event alongside senior executives from CTG’s Strategic Development Department, CTG TRAVEL, CTG Duty-Free, and CTG HOTEL. Their involvement further emphasized the strategic breadth of this cooperation, encompassing multiple business units and aligning operational capabilities for future joint initiatives.
As both groups embark on this new chapter of collaboration, the partnership is expected to enhance competitiveness, expand international presence, and accelerate integrated tourism development across domestic and global markets.
