Blain’s Farm & Fleet has partnered with Roadie, a UPS (NYSE:UPS) company, to introduce same-day delivery options for a wide range of products including lawn tractors, tools, clothing, snacks, and sporting goods. Local shoppers can now opt for doorstep delivery by friendly Roadie drivers if orders are placed by 2 p.m. The service covers over 60,000 items, including select oversized products.
Initially launched in December to enhance holiday shopping convenience beyond traditional shipping deadlines, the collaboration received positive feedback from customers, prompting Blain’s to extend the offering year-round. According to Kristin Stewart, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Blain’s, the move reflects their commitment to meeting customer expectations for convenience and reliability.
The introduction of same-day delivery has significantly impacted customer satisfaction and sales metrics. Within the first three days alone, Blain’s reported a remarkable 738% increase in order volume and a 378% year-over-year revenue growth compared to 2022.
