Amazon Business (NASDAQ: AMZN), the company’s online platform for business purchasing, has introduced Business Prime Rewards and significant discounts on Business Prime Essentials memberships. Business Prime Rewards offers an exclusive perk for Business Prime members, enabling them to earn up to $1,000 annually on eligible purchases made through Amazon Business. Customers with a personal Prime membership can access the first level of Business Prime for free or upgrade to the next tier at a discounted rate of just $9.99 for the first year, nearly 95% off the regular price. This offer is also available to new Business Prime members.
“Small and medium-sized businesses, from local cafes to firehouses, are the backbone of communities across the country, and Amazon Business is dedicated to supporting their growth with our unmatched selection, deep discounts, and rewards,” said Todd Heimes, Vice President of Amazon Business. “Our customers have been asking for a rewards program, and we’ve delivered. Business Prime Rewards provides entrepreneurs with cashback for their regular business purchases.”
Enhancing Business Prime with Business Prime Rewards
Business Prime Rewards is a valuable program for small and medium-sized businesses, offering an easy way to save time and money. Members can earn up to $1,000 annually on Amazon Business purchases, which can be redeemed on future orders during checkout. Rewards are applied as a payment method, with every 100 points equal to $1. Points are valid for 12 months and cannot be redeemed on digital items or gift cards. Members can track their points balance, available offers, and rewards history through their Business Prime Rewards dashboard.
Initially soft-launched earlier this year, the program is now fully available to Business Prime Duo and Business Prime Essentials members in the U.S. Customers can earn rewards through special offers, such as trying new features or adding users to their accounts. Recently, the program introduced a 2% cashback offer on Amazon private-label brands like Amazon Essentials.
Major Discounts on Business Prime Memberships
In addition to rewards, Amazon Business is offering significant discounts on Business Prime memberships. New members can join Business Prime Essentials for just $9.99 in the first year, a nearly 95% reduction from the usual annual fee of $179. Existing Business Prime Duo members can upgrade at the same price. Business Prime Duo remains free for any Amazon Business customer with a Prime account, offering benefits like free business delivery and 5% cashback or 90-day terms for eligible customers. Business Prime Essentials allows up to three users and includes additional tools like Spend Visibility and Guided Buying.

Business Prime and Business Prime Rewards are part of Amazon Business’ broader mission to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
