The establishment of LAUNCH’s Global Diversified Sourcing department marks a strategic move to streamline procurement procedures, promote supplier diversity, and ensure sustainable sourcing practices.
At the helm of this initiative is Arthur Emmanuel, a seasoned veteran of the retail industry with a distinguished career at the retail giant Walmart. With four decades of experience in retail operations, merchandising, and global sourcing, including managing a $12 billion sourcing organization, Emmanuel is poised to drive forward LAUNCH’s objectives swiftly. His track record includes guiding Walmart’s market entries into Argentina and Brazil, showcasing his expertise in navigating complex international markets.
Emmanuel, assuming the role of LAUNCH President of Global Operations and Strategic Sourcing, expresses enthusiasm about the potential for innovation and transformation in import-export dynamics amid intensifying competition and digital advancements. He views his appointment as a testament to LAUNCH’s commitment to embracing change and seizing opportunities in the evolving retail landscape.
