Shoan Etemadi Named Managing Director of Hemköpskedjan

Hemköpskedjan’s Deputy MD and Sales Head, Shoan Etemadi, appointed as MD, effective August 15, 2024, succeeding Simone Margulies, who will become Axfood’s President and CEO.

Effective August 15th, Shoan Etemadi will take over as Managing Director of Hemköpskedjan AB, succeeding Simone Margulies. He will also join the Executive Committee of Axfood AB. Currently serving as Deputy MD and Head of Sales at Hemköpskedjan, which encompasses Hemköp and Tempo, Shoan brings three years of experience in his current role and 15 years of expertise in the food retail industry, including operations, purchasing, and logistics at ICA and Lidl.

“There has been considerable interest in this position, both internally and externally, which is encouraging. After careful consideration, we have determined that the strongest candidate is internal. Shoan has excelled in his current position, significantly contributing to Hemköpskedjan’s recent success.
