Reece Group has announced its leadership succession plans to support the company’s long-term growth.
Effective November 1st, Peter Wilson will assume the roles of Chair and Chief Executive Officer. Tim Poole, who has served as a Director on the Board for eight years and as Chair for two years, will retire on November 1, 2024.
Peter Wilson expressed his gratitude, stating, “I would like to thank Tim Poole for his eight years on the Reece Group Board. Since joining, Reece has transformed significantly, and Tim has greatly contributed to our aspirations and has been a mentor to me. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
Tim Poole remarked, “It has been a privilege to be part of Reece’s growth and expansion, especially in the USA. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of a unique, customer-centric business driven by its purpose every day.”
Sasha Nikolic, currently the CEO of Reece USA, will become Group President and Managing Director of Reece. With six successful years leading the US business, Sasha’s extensive knowledge of both markets will be invaluable in his new role. He will work closely with Peter Wilson to accelerate the execution of the Group’s strategy.
Sasha will oversee all aspects of strategy implementation and performance, receiving input and mentorship from Peter Wilson. His new role will provide additional resources and capacity at the Group level, supporting Peter Wilson’s expanded responsibilities as Chair and CEO.
James Healy, currently the President of Plumbing for Reece USA, will be appointed CEO of Reece USA. James has been with the company since 1996, holding senior operational roles across both the ANZ and US regions. These changes will take effect from July 1, 2024, ensuring a thorough transition period and continuity for the business.
Peter Wilson stated, “Reece has always prided itself on growing and developing its own talent and promoting from within. Sasha and James exemplify everything great about our business – they are humble leaders who uphold the highest standards and always prioritize the customer and our team.
Over the past six years, the Reece team in the US has laid the early foundations for building a strong, enduring business in that market. I look forward to continuing our work together to drive Reece’s long-term success.
